Intelligent Access Program (IAP)

Pinpoint Communications Pty Ltd (Pinpoint), has passed through the rigorous testing of IAP certification to become an IAP Service Provider. IAP certification further enhances the broad product range that Pinpoint has to offer the transport industry. The combination of tracking, mobility solutions and multitude of management tools that Pinpoint provides is ensuring transport operators are able to drive down the costs of running their fleets.

Pinpoint and the Intelligent Access Program (IAP)

• The IAP provides Transport Operators access or enhanced access to the road network, allowing them to travel on roads that may have been previously denied to them.
• The IAP provides Road Authorities with greater confidence that vehicles are complying with the agreed road access conditions.
• For all stakeholders, the IAP has the potential to increase efficiency, productivity and safety, improving the public perception of heavy vehicle management; and promote sustainable road infrastructure.
• IAP Service Providers are certified by Transport Certification Australia Limited (TCA). Only IAP Service Providers can provide IAP services.
